TEHRAN – The maintenance of the Arak heavy water reactor is the first step of its redesign under Iran’s nuclear deal, the spokesman for the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said on Monday.

Referring to a recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency, Hossein Naghavi Hosseini said the agency’s report notes the reactor is being maintained which “appears to indicate that its redesign phase has gone underway.”
